0bama truly has no clue.

I must admit that I didn’t watch the BIG speech last night. Frankly, I already knew what 0bama was going to say and by all accounts, it looks like I was right. I knew he was going to vote “present.” After all, that’s one of his best things. Sure, he committed 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan….after dithering since August and holding 9 “war councils”. But keep in mind that 30,000 was the minimum number General McChrystal requested. He really wanted between 40,000-60,000. So in reality, the General in the field….the one 0bama appointed… got about half the troops he wanted. What does this mean – can our military succeed in achieving its mission with less than optimum troop levels? Time will tell. And while I’m hoping for the best, I have a feeling of dread. I don’t think 0bama is committed to this mission (even though he claimed to be during the campaign last year – he called Afghanistan the “war of necessity”). After all, 0bama is so concerned about an exit strategy that if I was in the Taliban I’d just hole up in a cave and wait this thing out. That’s what happens when you vote “present”…people figure you’re incompetent, shallow, or in over your head. Or all three. At least 0bama’s plan to use the military as props for a “good photo-op” didn’t work this time: Reaction to President Obama’s Speech on Afghanistan Note to 0bama – next time you give an anti-climactic diatribe, forget the “lights, camera, action” effects. It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like….Al Gore not only invented the internet, he also invented global warming. What a guy! The “climategate” scandal continues to grow, and now includes bunk research in both Britain and New Zealand. At least that’s what we know now – this story grows by the day.
